An Ordinance to Amend Section 2-406 of the Zoning Ordinance to Address the Manner in Which Required Open Space is Imposed in the RA and RC Zones

Topic Description:

The proposed amendment clarifies and codifies various administrative interpretations related to the imposition of the 85 percent open space requirement when properties have either been divided through the large-lot or cluster subdivision process, or changed in size through the  boundary line adjustment process.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:  

Consider adoption of the attached Ordinance (Option B), as revised following the Planning Commission public hearing.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

No fiscal impact is anticipated.
