A Joint Work Session with the
Fauquier County School Board to Discuss the Revised Cost
Estimates for the 11th Elementary School and the
Second Entrance to the Kettle Run High School

Topic Description: |
|
Revised estimates for the 11th
elementary school increase the estimated cost of the 11th
elementary school by $2-4 million dollars, bringing the
estimated cost to approximately $20 million. A revised
estimate for the second entrance to the Kettle Run High
School raises the estimated cost by $700,000, bringing the
estimated total cost to $3.8 million. The County currently
has $3.1 million budgeted for the second entrance and $15.9
million budgeted for the second elementary school. |

of Supervisors:

Conduct the proposed work
session, receive the update on these two projects and
discuss the financial ramifications of the new cost
estimates for the 11th elementary school and the
second entrance to the Kettle Run High School.
