A Work
Session to Review Residential and School Waste and Recycle
Programs |
|
Topic Description: |
|
Fauquier County’s
collection, hauling and recycling processing contract with
Efficient Roll-Off ends on November 15, 2005. Services are
provided to both the school system and convenience center
system under this contract. Given that this is a complex,
expensive, and multi-year contract that has had some
difficulties during the past year(s), staff is recommending
certain capital and operational changes that are expected to
improve services to the public and the school system.
The attached material will
be reviewed during this work session.
