The John Marshall Library's Book Club meets at 1 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) in the Marshall Community Center Cafe. New members are always welcome. - May 8: The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Jan-Philipp Sendker
- June 12: The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman
- July 10: The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Shafak
- Aug. 14: The Right-Hand Shore by Christopher Tilghman
- Sept. 11: Nora Ephron selection (reader's choice)
- Oct. 9: The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton
- Nov. 13: In the Heart of the Sea: the Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick
