PURPOSE

The Recycling Information Team develops and presents environmental information programs and materials to our county schools and residents. Some of these programs include; landfill and recycling center tours, slide presentations, vermicomposting, informational brochures, quarterly newsletter, flyers, and internet information.

The information team works closely with other departmental sections to accomplish their goal of providing up-to-date information on county recycling, litter prevention and landfill programs.

Our information program strives to provide vital information to the Fauquier County residents and their children in the hopes that a well-informed resident will willingly participate in the proper disposal of their municipal solid waste.
