The library has a variety of volunteer opportunities at all three
of its locations. Volunteers must be 13 or older and are asked to commit
to six months of volunteering. Flexible hours are available Monday
through Friday. E-mail Linda Yowell, or call (540) 422-8519, for more information.
Applications are available at all library locations, or
you may fill out an online application here.
Help sell books - The Friends of the Fauquier Library, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the library, needs volunteers to help in its used bookstore the Book Cellar. Book Cellar volunteers must be 18 or older. Call Denise Johnson, (540) 439-1939.
Summer Reading Program - Teens age 13 and up are encouraged to volunteer during the summer reading program. Being a teen volunteer is a cool way to get involved at the library and gain some work experience in a really great environment. All volunteers are required to attend an initial training session. Volunteers will be contacted with dates and times for training. Please complete the volunteer form and return it to the library.
