Attempted Abduction

Bealeton Virginia

Seeking Public Information


The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted abduction of a 13 year old female in the Meadowbrooke Subdivision in Bealeton, VA. This incident occurred at approximately 6:45AM, Wednesday, January 16, 2013, in the 10900 block of Blake Lane near Hunt Place in Bealeton.

This incident occurred while the victim was walking to her bus stop where an unidentified white or Hispanic male attempted to force her into a white van.

The only vehicle description available at this time is a white VAN with a side cargo style door on the passenger side; occupied by two males.

One male suspect is described as 5’7” – 5’8”, slender, possibly in his 30’s.

Also, on January 16, 2013, at approximately 6:50 a.m., an older model white work van, followed by a dark grey Jeep Cherokee, were observed running a stop sign at the intersection of Route 28 (Catlett Road) and Oak Shade Road at a high rate of speed. This action caused several vehicles on the southbound side of Rt. 28 (Catlett Rd) to brake abruptly.
