Summary
Staff Report: |
|
This text amendment was initiated by the Board of
Supervisors on October 12, 2006. The purpose is to
accommodate one existing business in the County and to
provide for others that may seek to locate here. On
November 30, 2006, by a vote of 4 to 0, the Planning
Commission recommended adoption.
In the resolution initiating the text amendment, the Board
of Supervisors left often to the Planning Commission’s
discretion how to authorize the desired activity. Staff
prepared a text amendment recommending that: storage be
limited to new passenger cars, pickup trucks, sport utility
vehicles; on-site maintenance and mechanical work not be
permitted; and the lot shall be completely screened from
view of adjacent properties. The Planning Commission adopted
these recommendations.
