A Resolution to Amend the Board of Supervisors’ Legislative Priorities for the 2010 General Assembly

Topic Description:

This is a resolution to amend the Board of Supervisors’ 2010 Legislative Priorities to oppose Governor Kaine’s proposal to delay an adjustment in Fauquier County’s composite index, which would result in a loss of up to $3 million in education funding.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Implementation of the Governor’s proposal could result in a loss of up to $3,000,000 in education revenue.
