Topic:

A Work Session Regarding the Board of Health Emergency Regulations for Alternative On-site Sewage Systems (12VAC5-613)

Topic Description:

The purpose of the session is to review pending alternative on-site sewage system emergency regulatory requirements, discuss their impacts on the County's current practices and land development regulations and identify changes that may need to be initiated. Discussions also will focus on the perspectives offered from the local Health Department and the Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority (WSA) regarding the pending regulations.

Attached is the official advisory opinion of the Commonwealth of Virginia's Attorney General regarding the applicability of the pending regulations.
