A Resolution to Authorize
the County Administrator and the County Attorney to Take the
Necessary Steps to Place the Subdivision Streets Within Oak
Lake Subdivision in the State System |
|
Topic Description: |
|
The streets in Oak Lake
Subdivision were constructed to State standards and were at
a point at which they were acceptable to the Virginia
Department of Transportation (VDOT), but title problems
delayed the conveyance to the point that the roads
deteriorated and are no longer acceptable to VDOT. VDOT has
provided an estimate indicating that the roads require
$18,197 in surface treatment and ditch work. The attached
resolution authorizes the County to take the necessary steps
to complete the acceptance of the streets. |
