A Resolution Approving the Fiscal Year 2008 Visitor's Center Budget

Topic Description:

On August 10, 2006, the Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution agreeing to pay one-half (1/2) of the operating costs for the Warrenton-Fauquier Visitor Center.  The resolution established as a precondition to the Board's obligation to pay, the annual approval of the Visitor Center's budget.  The Visitor Center's proposed FY 2008 budget totals $85,438. The resolution, if adopted, would approve the Visitor Center's budget for FY 2008 and would obligate the County to pay one-half of that cost, or $42,719.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

The financial impact of this request is $42,719.
