Residential Burglary
The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglary on Saturday afternoon, January 22, 2011. This incident was reported at approximately 3:00 pm by the victim who was house sitting for the homeowner.
The victim returned to the residence in the 10000 block of Highland Drive near Wesley Chapel Road and discovered a male subject in the garage armed with a black handgun. A verbal altercation ensued and the victim and suspect both fled the residence.
The suspect is described as a white male, short military style hair with no facial hair, approximately 5’8” 175 lbs and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweated shirt, blue jeans, red and white tennis shoes and black gloves.
This incident is currently under investigation.
