Sheriff’s Deputies receive
MADD and VASAP
Awards
Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program honored local law enforcement officers at a ceremony held in Fairfax, VA on Friday, May 4, 2012.
Five Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office deputies received the prestigious award from MADD and VASAP. The deputies were recognized for their outstanding efforts combating drunk drivers in Fauquier County in 2011. Receiving the award were:
Sergeant Sean Healy
Corporal Chad Brubaker
Corporal Jonathan Waddell
Corporal Kevin Dyson
Deputy 1st Class Lance Davenport
Colonel Paul Mercer commended the deputies for their hard work and dedication and presented each with the award. In total the five deputies arrested 157 drunk drivers on Fauquier County roads last year.
