A Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to donate APPLICATION Fees for Non-Profit Organizations
WHEREAS, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors has established fees for various land development applications in order to offset the cost of processing such applications; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has the authority to donate such fees for non-profit organizations and has done so from time-to-time to assist the efforts of the non-profit organizations, and to do so at the time of filing of the application; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to delegate the authority for donating such fees to the County Administrator; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 8th day of January 2009, That the County Administrator be, and is hereby, given the authority donate application fees for non-profit organizations by waiving the requirement to pay the fee with the application.
