Topic: 

Update From Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority

Topic Description:

One of the Board members has requested that an update be provided on the progress of a number of utility projects that have been supported by the County.  It is expected that information will be provided concerning: 

·        New Baltimore sewer extension and treatment plant upgrade

·        Marshall water improvements

·        Opal water system proposal

·        Paris water improvements 

The work session will also offer the opportunity to discuss changes in Department of Environmental Quality regulations that will impact the development or expansion of waste water treatment plants in the future.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session to receive a report from the Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

None.  Funding has been previously provided for these projects.
