A Resolution to Deny SPEX07-CR-005: A Category 29 Special Exception to Waive Public Street Requirements
WHEREAS, Michael and Heather Hawkins, owners of the property identified by PIN 7848-26-6800-000, have requested a Category 29 Special Exception to waive the public street requirements for access to this property; and
WHEREAS, if approved, this Special Exception would provide the required road frontage and access for up to five (5) lots; and
WHEREAS, there are two parcels accessing this private street, an existing administrative subdivision, and the parent parcel where the new subdivision is proposed; and
WHEREAS, on November 30, 2006, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend denial of the Special Exception SPEX07-CR-005 to the Board of Supervisors for the following reasons:
WHEREAS, on January 11, 2007, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors held a Public Hearing and considered oral and written testimony and concurred with the judgment of the Planning Commission; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 11th day of January 2007, That Special Exception SPEX07-CR-005, Michael and Heather Hawkins, owners/applicants, be, and is hereby, denied.
