In August 2005,
Warrenton-Fauquier Airport staff began review and revising
the Minimum Standards for Aviation services. A draft of the
revisions was reviewed by the Airport Operations
Subcommittee on August 26, 2005. This draft was forwarded to
the Airport Committee on September 26, 2005. At that time,
the Airport Committee and staff made a decision to continue
detailed review of the document. On October 10, 2005, the
Airport Operations Subcommittee met to make final revisions
for submittal to the Airport Committee. On December 5,
2005, the Airport Committee reviewed and made a unanimous
decision to forward the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport Minimum
Standards for Aviation Services and the Warrenton-Fauquier
Airport Rules and Regulations to the Fauquier County Board
of Supervisors for consideration and adoption during it’s
January 2006 meeting.

businesses permitted to operate on the Airport.

operating on and utilizing recently constructed airport
facilities.
