A Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to Accept a Grant Awarded by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs

Topic Description:

The Virginia Department of Fire Programs awarded a grant in the amount of $4,564.00 to Fauquier County.  These funds are to be used to purchase equipment and tools to be used in Fire Science Training Facility by Fire & Rescue personnel.    

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Fauquier County has been awarded $4,564.00 from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs and does not require any County match.
