Resolution to Request that the Virginia Department of
Transportation Install No Parking Signs on Route 28 (Catlett
Road) at Whipkey Drive
|
|
Topic
Description: |
|
At the request of John Meadows, Lee District Planning
Commissioner, and with the concurrence of the Board of
Supervisors and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT),
“No Parking” signs would be installed on Route 28 (Catlett
Road) at Whipkey Drive. Whipkey Drive is an entrance into
the Ashley Glen (Edgewood East) subdivision. These signs
will be placed at locations which VDOT deems appropriate.
Mr. Meadows’ request is due to cars with “For Sale” signs
being parked along this section of Route 28. Based on
several other complaints, the Zoning Office has investigated
this complaint, and determined the cars are parked along the
right-of-way, not on private property. |
