Topic: 

A Resolution to Approve an Increase in Fees for T-Hangars, Tie-Downs, and Condos at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport

Topic Description:

The Airport Committee reviewed and recommended revisions in the fees for T-Hangars, Tie-Downs, and Condos at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport.  The additional income is needed to support a more aggressive maintenance program at the Airport. There are also increased costs associated with the additional acreage and facilities to maintain, now that the Airport improvements are nearing completion.  The Airport Committee has recommended an increase of approximately 5% in the monthly rates for T-Hangars, Tie-Downs, and Condos, as shown below:

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Additional revenue will be available in the Airport fund to carryout improved maintenance of Airport hangars and facilities.  The rates were previously adjusted in December 2003.
