RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO CANCEL THE SOLICITATION FOR BROADBAND SERVICES

WHEREAS, proposals were received on September 30, 2008; and

WHEREAS, a committee has reviewed the proposals to provide broadband services to less densely populated areas in the southern and central portions of the County; and

WHEREAS, there is a possibility of federal funding to provide broadband services to less densely populated areas; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 12^th day of February 2009, That staff is hereby directed to cancel the solicitation for broadband services, RFP# 08-09sm.
