Beginning with FY 10, the
annual appropriations resolution will grant staff the
authority to carry forward unexpended grants and
encumbrances as part of the year-end closeout. The Board
will continue to have appropriations authority for new grant
awards and other supplemental appropriations, as required by
the Code of Virginia.
