Topic: 

A Resolution to Recommend Projects for Funding Under the Federal Stimulus Program

Topic Description:

County staff continues to monitor possible funding opportunities through the Federal stimulus program to address existing capital needs.  The attached list of potential projects includes needs identified by the County, Water and Sanitation Authority and School system.  Funding for infrastructure improvements, energy conservation and public facility improvements constitute the focus of the program.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Federal stimulus funding will assist in addressing capital needs.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:
