RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND PROJECTS FOR FUNDING UNDER THE FEDERAL STIMULUS PROGRAM WHEREAS, Fauquier County is unable to address repairs and improvements to capital facilities due to the difficult economic conditions that require program reductions and deferral of needed improvements; and WHEREAS, Fauquier County is seeking to fund needed projects where design is complete and projects are ready to be bid that will create jobs and support the economic recovery; and WHEREAS, the County recognizes the need to make improvements to public facilities to promote energy conservation, to improve facilities, and to develop infrastructure to support the needs of the County; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of February 2009, That the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized to communicate to State and Federal officials the needs of Fauquier County for Federal stimulus funding.
