RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO GRANT THE CASANOVA HUNT A LICENSE TO ENTER ONTO APPROPRIATE AREAS OF THE STAFFORD AND CORRAL FARM PROPERTIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF HUNTING WHEREAS, the Casanova Hunt has requested permission from Fauquier County to enter onto County-owned properties, more particularly identified as the Stafford and Corral Farm properties, for purposes of engaging in fox hunting; and WHEREAS, the County has traditionally allowed the Casanova Hunt to hunt on appropriate portions of the Corral Farm property; and WHEREAS, the County is willing to consider authorizing the Casanova Hunt to enter onto appropriate portions of the Stafford property for purposes of hunting; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of February 2008, That the County Administrator be, and is hereby, authorized to enter into a licensing agreement with the Casanova Hunt to enter onto appropriate areas of the Stafford and Corral Farm properties for the purpose of hunting, under such terms and conditions as are appropriate.
