A  Resolution to Authorize the Acceptance of a Trail Easement at Lake Brittle

Topic Description:

Metro Homes #3, LLC, has proposed to grant the County a trail easement across four lots it owns adjacent to Lake Brittle.  This easement would afford potential public access around Lake Brittle as the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries owns a fee simple interest around the remainder of the lake fifty feet (50’) from the shoreline. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
