An Ordinance to Amend the Marshall Electric Power and Light District to Add Additional Infrastructure Improvements as a Permissible Use of Funds Within the District

Topic Description:

The proposed amendment would permit the use of funds from the Marshall Electric Power and Light  Service District to be used for additional infrastructure such as sidewalks, curb and gutter, either individually or in conjunction with grants and loans.  The amendment also renames the District to the “Marshall Electric Light and Business Improvement District.”

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adopting the proposed Ordinance.
