RESOLUTION

 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADDITION OF THE POSITION TITLE OF AIRPORT MANAGER TO THE FAUQUIER COUNTY GOVERNMENT CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN

WHEREAS, management of the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport was previously contracted to a third party; and

WHEREAS, with the elimination of those contracted services, the duties were assigned to an existing position within the Department of General Services; and 

WHEREAS, a position analysis review was conducted by Springstead, incorporating the additional duties; and

WHEREAS, Springstead recommended a position title of Airport Manager and a grade of 28 for the position; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 17^th day of February 2004, That the position title of Airport Manager, grade 28, be, and is hereby, added to the Fauquier County Government Classification and Compensation Plan.
