Purchase of Development Rights program including a
discussion of the process and criteria for selecting
properties to be included in the program. Bob Lee will

|
Receive the information
provided by staff at the work session and discuss any
questions or issues which Board members might have about the
County's program or the County Administrator's proposal. |
|
Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
There is no financial impact
from holding the worksession. If the tax increase is
adopted as part of the budget, the Commissioner of Revenue
estimates the program will generate approximately $1.2
million annually for the program and would increase the
average real property tax bill by $40.00 a year ($20.00 per
penny on an average house bill of $200,100). |
