Topic Description:

 

Various budget related issues in the amount of $4,041 in appropriations and $556,137 in transfers for FY 2004, totaling $560,178 have been identified for consideration.

RESOLUTION

 

A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE 

 FY 2004 ADOPTED BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $560,178

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is charged by the Code of Virginia with the preparation of an annual budget for Fauquier County; and

 

            WHEREAS, on March 25, 2003, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors adopted the Fauquier County FY 2004 Budget; and

 

            WHEREAS, during the course of the fiscal year certain events occur which necessitate changing the budget plan by increasing or decreasing the total budget; and

 

                WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended FY 2004 budget adjustments of $560,178 for the purposes set forth below;  now, therefore, be it

 

            RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 17th day of February 2004, That the FY 2004 Budget be, and is hereby, amended in the amount of $4,041 in appropriations and $556,137  in transfers, totaling $560,178, as follows:
