PROCLAMATION

A PROCLAMATION TO RECOGNIZE KATHIE WILSON FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE FAUQUIER COUNTY LIBRARY

AND THE CITIZENS OF FAUQUIER COUNTY

            WHEREAS, in May 1999, Kathie Wilson was appointed to the Fauquier County Library Board and served until January 2004; and

            WHEREAS, during Kathie Wilson’s tenure, the Marshall Branch of the Library doubled in size, the new Bealeton Branch was planned, constructed, and opened, circulation of library materials throughout the system increased by 7%, and library resources and services became much more highly accessible; and

            WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to recognize Kathie Wilson for her outstanding contributions to the Fauquier County Library and the citizens of Fauquier County; now, therefore; be it

            PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 17th day of February 2004, That Kathie Wilson be, and is hereby, recognized and commended for her contributions; and be it

            PROCLAIMED FURTHER, That the Board of Supervisors does hereby extend its best wishes to Kathie Wilson in all future endeavors.
