Topic: 

A Resolution to Authorize Conveyance of Properties Acquired Under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program

Topic Description:

The County has acquired foreclosed property located at 12164 David Court, Remington and 6735 Huntland Drive, Bealeton under the Neighborhood Stabilization Grant.  In accordance with program guidelines, the County is seeking to sell this property to eligible participants.

In accordance with Virginia law, a public hearing is to be held prior to authorizing the conveyance of this property.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Grant funds provide for the acquisition and conveyance of foreclosed properties.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:
