PROCLAMATION A PROCLAMATION TO RECOGNIZE THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CITIZENS OF FAUQUIER COUNTY WHEREAS, every four years, Fauquier County is required by law to reassess the value of all of the real property, including improvements, within the County; and WHEREAS, the Code of Virginia requires the Board of Supervisors to appoint a Board of Assessors; and WHEREAS, for the 2010 reassessment, the Board of Supervisors appointed Lurty Houff, William Miller, Taliaferro Copper, David deGive, Gunther Morse, William Frazier, and John Suter; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to recognize each member of the Board of Assessors for his dedicated service; now, therefore, be it PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 18th day of February 2010, That the Board of Assessors be, and is hereby, recognized and commended for their service to the citizens of Fauquier County.
