A Resolution to Authorize the County Administrator to Execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) for a USDA Specialty Crop Grant

 Topic Description:

Fauquier County has been awarded a USDA Specialty Crop Grant in the amount of $25,000. The grant will assist Fauquier County orchards with marketing to ethnic populations in Northern Virginia.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

There are no financial impacts. No County funds are being used for match; in-kind services will be provided by Agricultural Development Department staff.
