A Resolution to Authorize the Hiring of Counsel to Represent the County Before the State Corporation Commission in the Dominion 500 Kv Transmission Line Application.

Topic Description:

The Board of Supervisors has considered retaining outside counsel to represent the County in the above-referenced matter and determined it to be appropriate to do so.

 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

The anticipated financial impact over a period of three fiscal years is approximately $500,000.00.
