Topic: 

A Resolution to Authorize the County Administrator to Execute a Lease on Behalf of Fauquier County with Brian S. Montgomery for Office Space Located at 35 Culpeper Street 

Topic Description:

The resolution authorizes the County Administrator to execute a lease on behalf of Fauquier County with Brian S. Montgomery for the purpose of renting office space located at 35 Culpeper Street for the Office of Economic Development.  The previous lease with Mr. Montgomery expired and Economic Development has been holding over month to month.  Board approval of this lease is necessary because the rental payments have increased over the previous month to month arrangement.  The monthly rental rate increases on an annual basis over the five year term of the lease.  Attached is a copy of the lease.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
