A Resolution to Approve a Contract to Purchase the New Baltimore Convenience Site

Topic Description:

The owners of the New Baltimore Convenience Site have executed a contract to sell the New Baltimore Convenience Site to Fauquier County for $50,000.  This contract would eliminate the need for the County to lease the convenience site and provide for the long-term availability of the property.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

The anticipated fiscal impact of the purchase is the purchase price plus incidental expenses associated with the acquisition.
