A Work Session to Discuss
the Proposed New Baltimore Branch Library |

The adopted FY 2006–FY 2015
Capital Improvement Plan contains funding for a 20,000
square foot New Baltimore branch library, located on a
five-acre site adjoining the newly built Auburn Middle
School. Funds for the project design were approved for FY
2006; construction is scheduled for FY 2008-FY 2009. At its
retreat in January 2006, the Board of Supervisors discussed
scaling back the proposed square footage of the library. The
Library Board would like to provide the Board of Supervisors
with an update of the New
Baltimore project and discuss the size of the
proposed library. |

The size of
the proposed New Baltimore branch library will have an
impact on the amount to be spent for both design services
and the construction of the facility. |
