Topic Description: |

The proposed amendments to
Sections 2-17 and 2-17.1 of the Fauquier County Code would
shift the emphasis of the Parks and Recreation Board away
from the daily operation of the Department, place the
Director of the Department under the direct supervision of
the County Administrator, broaden the authority of the Parks
and Recreation Board to appoint advisory committees, and
require the Parks and Recreation Board and Department of
Parks and Recreation to follow the purchasing and financial
policies of the County. |
