PROCLAMATION A
PROCLAMATION HONORING RYAN HUNSBERGER AND CONNER MILLER FOR WHEREAS, Ryan Hunsberger and Conner Miller dominated their respective weight classes on Friday, February 19, 2010, and Saturday, February 20, 2010, in the Group AA State tournament at the Salem Civic Center in Salem; and WHEREAS, their combined efforts resulted in Mr. Hunsberger and Mr. Miller becoming the first pair of Fauquier Falcons to win individual State championships in one season; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hunsberger and Mr. Miller also helped Fauquier High School finish third in the team standings behind champion Christiansburg and runner up Grundy; and WHEREAS, Mr. Miller finished his career with a medal from the AAA, AA and A State tournaments; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hunsberger became the first wrestler to win four State medals in his career at Fauquier High School; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors would like to recognize and honor Mr. Hunsberger and Mr. Miller for these accomplishments; now, therefore, be it PROCLAIMED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 11th day of March 2010, That Ryan Hunsberger and Conner Miller be, and are hereby, recognized and honored as being the first pair of Fauquier Falcons to win individual state championships in one season.
