FY 2009 Joint Budget Work Session with Fauquier County School Board

Topic Description:

Annually as part of the Board of Supervisors budget process the Board meets in joint work session with the Fauquier County School Board to discuss the School Board’s Budget and other matters of mutual interest.  The Board of Supervisors will conduct a work session with the Fauquier County School Board to discuss the following items and other items of interest.  The School Board has requested that the three items be listed for discussion: 

1. The School Board’s Proposed Budget
2. The Second Entrance to the High School
3. The Water and Sanitation Authority’s Request to be Included in the County’s Health Insurance Plan

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session and discuss listed issues and other matters of mutual concern.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Holding the work session has no fiscal impacts.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:

Fauquier County School Board.
