A Resolution to Adopt the Employee Health
Care Plan and Rates for FY 2009 |

Topic Description: |

The Health Care Advisory Committee has been
meeting on a regular to monitor the employee health care
plan.
The new plan year proposes no benefit changes
to the four medical plan or the two dental plan offerings.
The attached rate structures are recommended
for approval. The medical plan offer no rate increases to
full-time permanent employees. The dental plan proposes to
increase both the employer and employee contributions by 17%
to equally share the increase in premiums by Delta Dental of
Virginia. Rate changes are recommend for special categories
as shown on the attached documents.

Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
The FY 2009 health care costs are expected to
be addressed through a combination of budgeted funding and
benefit plan adjustments.
