IMPROVEMENT BUDGET - A public hearing on the Six-Year Secondary
Road Improvement Plan for Fauquier County concerning the Secondary
Road Improvement budget for the coming fiscal year. (David Cubbage,

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
– A public hearing to solicit public input on the proposed Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) proposal to be submitted to the
Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the
Fauquier Boys and Girls Club. The Fauquier Boys and Girls Club
proposal will include the following activities: after school care,
preparation for entering the workforce, health screening,
educational and recreational activities. Residents of the project
area are encouraged to attend. The draft CDBG proposal will be
presented for comment along with information on projected
beneficiaries, including the number of low- and moderate-income
residents to benefit from the proposed project. Citizens will also
be given the opportunity to comment on Fauquier County’s past use of

AMENDMENT TO BETHEL ACADEMY STREET IMPROVEMENT TAXING DISTRICT
- A public hearing on a proposed amendment to Section 8-3 of the
Code of Fauquier County adding Subsection (D) providing that elderly
and disabled persons qualified for the exemption from real estate
taxes pursuant to Article II of Chapter 8 of the Code of Fauquier
County shall not be exempt from the Bethel Academy Service District
Tax imposed pursuant to Sections 8-56 through 8-61 of the Code of

A PUBLIC HEARING TO AUTHORIZE THE ACQUISITION OF FEE SIMPLE
INTERESTS AND/OR EASEMENTS OVER THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES - A
public hearing to authorize the acquisition of easements and fee
simple interests consisting of approximately the following acreages
to install a traffic signal at the intersection of State Routes 605
and 602 and signalization at the intersection of Route 605 and 676
