As a consequence of
increased traffic on Routes 605, 602 and Riley Road (676),
the County has planned intersection improvements at the
intersections of 602 and 605 and Riley Road and 605.
Section 15.2-1903 et. seq. of the Code of Virginia requires
the County to conduct a public hearing prior to acquiring
such property. The interests to be acquired are as follows:
A fee simple interest in .01258 acres, a permanent slope
easement of .11058 acres and a Columbia gas easement of
.01715 acres over the property of Theodore L. and Helen M.
Permanent slope and traffic control easement of 4717 square
feet, telephone utility easement of 3072 square feet, and
sight distance easement of 695 square feet over the property
of Barbara Carrico Pitts.
A permanent slope easement of 3727 square feet, telephone
utility easements of 11,417 square feet and utility easement
of 242 square feet over the property of Auburn Crossing
Homeowners Association, Inc.
A fee simple interest in .3859 acres, permanent utility
easement of approximately .317 acres and temporary
construction easement of .1145 acres over the property of
the Heinz Otto Silbersiepe Living Trust.
