A Proposal to Build Two Smaller High Schools Rather Than One Larger High School to Accommodate Increased Student Capacity

Topic Description:

The Fauquier Institute has developed a proposal to build two smaller high schools rather than the one large high school originally contemplated by the Fauquier County School Board.  The Fauquier Institute will be in attendance at the work session to present and discuss its proposal.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session to review a proposal to construct two smaller high schools.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

No financial analysis of this proposal as compared with a proposal for the construction of one larger high school has been completed at this time.
