Topic:              A Resolution Authorizing the Revision of Selected Human Resources Policies 

The Fauquier County Human Resources Policy Manual is being reviewed in its entirety for necessary updates and revisions.  Part of this review entails grouping related policies to eliminate duplication, removing policies from the manual that are administrative in nature and providing a logical sequencing and retrieval of information.  To this end, the following policies have been revised:

Policy 2B – Annual Leave

Policy 2H – Holidays                     

Policy 16A – Tuition Reimbursement/Education Assistance.

It is recommended that the following policy be abolished:

Policy 19 – Executive Safety Committee.                 

These revisions and recommendations have received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
