Topic Description:

|
The
Code of Virginia requires a public hearing prior to budget
adoption. The approved budget calendar has March 17th
as the date of the public hearing. The date, location (The Barn at
Lord Fairfax Community College), and Proposed Budget information
will have been advertised in the local newspapers for the two
weeks prior to March 17th.

attached.

Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Convene
the public hearing as previously scheduled.

Impacts Analysis:

The
public hearing on the Proposed Budget has no direct financial
impact. Changes to the Budget based on citizens comments are
unknown at this time.
