RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE CONCESSION CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA (DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND INLAND FISHERIES) AND FAUQUIER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS (DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION)

WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Virginia operates Lake Brittle in Fauquier County and has asked Fauquier County to manage the concession operation at this lake ; and 

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board has studied this opportunity and has submitted the necessary documentation to enact this agreement ; and 

WHEREAS, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors Finance Committee has authorized the necessary funding support for this concession operation ; now, therefore, be it 

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 18th day of March 2002, That the Concession Contract Between the Commonwealth of Virginia (Department of Game and Inland Fisheries) and Fauquier County Board of Supervisors (Department of Parks and Recreation, be, and is hereby, approved ; and, be it 

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the County Administrator be, and is hereby, authorized to execute the document ; and, be it 

RESOLVED FINALLY, That the Parks and Recreation Department be authorized to make minor modifications to the contract to conform to any special needs of VDGIF without changing the intent and basic tenets of the agreement .
