RESOLUTION 

 A RESOLUTION TO REVISE AND ABOLISH SELECTED FAUQUIER COUNTY GOVERNMENT HUMAN RESOURCES POLICIES 

WHEREAS, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors recognizes the need and the importance of maintaining up-to-date Human Resources policies; and  

WHEREAS, the Fauquier County Government Human Resources Policies Manual is being reviewed for necessary additions, revisions and deletions; and   

WHEREAS, a review has been conducted with respect to selected policies; and 

WHEREAS, recommended changes are contained in the following policies dated March 18, 2002:

Section 11             Hiring              

Section 38             Physical Examinations

Section 23             Position Classification Plan

Section 46             Sexual Harassment; and 

WHEREAS, the following policies are recommended for abolishment: 

Section 6              General Provisions of Personnel Policy

Section 7              Responsibility                          

Section 12             Reference and Investigation

Section 27            Promotions, Demotions, and Transfers; now, therefore, be it 

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 18^th day of March 2002, That the revisions made to the Human Resources Policy Manual be approved effective March 18, 2002.
